President
- Outstanding Service Award recipients for Fall 2008: Sam S. and Tara R.
Old Business
- Better World Books: The books need to be sent out ASAP. (The box of books was packed after the meeting)
New Business
- Encouraged participation in the Leadership Certificate Program on campus.
- Spring Semester Overview
Feb 8th= Organization expo in Herrick Library . Sunday 3pm-6pm
Feb. 8th-14th= Recruitment Week
Feb. 15th= Pledge Ceremony
Feb. 21st= Section 89 SLED -11am-7pm at UB, Amherst
Feb. 22nd= Chapter Officer Nominations
March 1st= Elections
March 27th-29th= Tri-Sectionals @ St. Lawrence University
April 3rd= Relay for Life – 7pm-7am
April 5th= New Officers Take Office / Tentative Brothering Ceremony
April 11th= CAPS
April 17th-19th= Section 89 Service Carnival
April 24th-26th= Hot Dog Day Weekend
- Committees
All active members will be apart of a committee
Service- Chaired by VPS
1st Objective: Decide on service projects for the semester
Membership/Fellowship- Chaired by VPM
1st Objective: Decide on events for Recruitment Week
DSK- Chaired by Sam S
1st Objective: Decide on criteria and how individuals will be nominated
Bylaw- Chaired by Nique
Continuing prior objectives until business is concluded
- Appointments
VPM appoints: Rush Chair= Sam Harrison, Joey Turro
President appoints: VPS= Johnny, President= Matt
- Meeting Standing Rules
- Keep interruptions to a minimum
- If you are tardy, please do not make it noticeable.
- Please follow the order of the agenda as it is organized in a particular way.
- Everyone who comes to a meeting should be prepared with a calendar or notepad to write down dates and times of events.
- Cell phones should be set to vibrate. If the call is an emergency is should be taken outside.
All were agreed on the standing rules.
