About EG
The Epsilon Gamma Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, National Service Fraternity, at Alfred University was established in 1947 and re-established in 1977. The brotherhood brings together students with an interest in helping each other, the campus, and the Alfred community through service. Alpha Phi Omega provides service opportunities both on and off campus and is commited to the ideals of leadership, friendship, and service.
Although not the oldest chapter in New York State, the Epsilon Gamma Chapter is currently the oldest active chapter in Section 89, Region 2.
